Qalhat Real Estate Investments & Services LLC (QREIS)

QREIS a wholly owned subsidiary was established in the year 2000, for the implementation of a residential housing project that involved developing a comprehensive state-of-the-art residential complex for the senior-most personnel of Oman LNG (OLNG), on a land measuring about 1 million sq. m. leased from Public Enterprise for Industrial Estate (PEIE).

The construction was done by a consortium of Bahwan Contracting Co. LLC and Galfar Engineering & Contracting Co. LLC, the Complex was handed over to OLNG in April 2002. The Complex built to specification to senior staff of OLNG, has been appreciated for creating a integrated housing facility, consisting of 130 villas, recreation center, commercial center, sports hall, mosque and a maintenance block. There is also abundant vacant land for future expansion.

The Original lease period was from the year 2000 to 31 December 2024. The lease has since been renewed with the agreement of its residential complex for a further period of five years with OLNG, as a continuation to its long-standing relationship with OLNG in providing a premium residential facility in Sur.
